Picked up Kot’s first two issues a couple weeks back, this is actually pretty good. He kept my attention and got me interested to see where he takes these characters. Plus it has James Gordon Jr and that intrigues me. Is like to.see him and Harley have a “thing”.
Sadly, Kot’s last issue is 23. It’ll be my last issue, too. No offence to incoming writer Matt Kindt, but I don’t wanna read something that’s now tied into Forever Evil.
I don’t think I’ll even pick this issue up anymore. Kot seemed to set sail and now were getting a new captain. I’ll wait to see how it turns out, I wasn’t too invested in the first place.
Imperious Shark. God, i’m gonna miss Kot.
That said, i’ll probably stick around for Kindt.
Yea that moment was great, and i’ve liked this guys whole run, wish he was staying and Kindt was taking over something that is actually bad.
I’ll check out Kindt’s issues, and I know the art will be good. Honestly with the goings on with forever evil it would not make sense for this book to not be involved.
I thought this was really great. 5 stars. It has such a great vibe to it. I am so sad Kot is leaving so quickly. I just am not a fan of Kindt and I loved what was going on here. I don’t know if I will give Kindt one issue to sway me or just drop this, but I am sad with whatever the hell is going on at DC.
Another good Suicide Squad issue. To me James Gordon Jr just seems so out of place in this title though. He’s a psychopath who is working on a team. I get they are all criminals but James is pure evil.
