  1. I cannot wait for this..

  2. Guess I should read those volumes 2 and 3 sitting on my shelf…

  3. aww yeah mike mignola!?  awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. Some reeeaaally good shit gets collected in this vol.

  5. Hellboy!? Mignola!!??? WHHHAAA!!??

  6. Releasing these HCs was such a good move by DC.  I wonder if the majority of the people buying them is people reading it for the first time (like me) or if it’s mostly people who’ve already read the series.

  7. I am so thankful that the Hellboy/Starman/Batman 2-parter gets collected in this line. I think the Gods love us!

  8. @rolandofgilead I was wondering if they would collect the hellboy crossover and am so glad that they are!

  9. I can’t wait for this to come out. I didn’t start reading Starman, the first trade, until late last year and then I bought the first three omnibus this year. I’m hooked on this, I really liked what I’ve read so far!

  10. Does this mark the beginning of the end for Tony Harris’ run on Starman?

  11. @Crippler: Yeah, as far as I recall (and I’m going on memory here, as I sold my trades once they announced these Omnibuses), this will probably collect the last of Tony Harris’ run on the title.  I think he came back to do some covers here and there, but in terms of interiors, I think that’s it.  If I’m wrong, then we’re talking about an couple of issues in the next collection, but I think he left during the issues collected here.  Regardless, it’s awesome that they’re collecting this.  The space stories drag a little, but then the Grand Guignol kicks in and it’s smooth sailing from there.

  12. It’s weird to buy a DC book with Hellboy on the (back) cover! A Tony Harris Hellboy at that!

  13. Got this in mys tack today and it’s gorgeous as ever.  Just read the afterword, as it’s the one thing I can’t wait to look it.  They are absolutely fascinating, and Robinson is incredibly honest.  Also, Robinson’s sometimes wistful sometimes melancholy reflections somehow lead me to thinking about my own life at the time of reading this comic. Which I know seems a little strange…

  14. I was tough to leave this on the shelf when I was at the shop yesterday.
