  1. Am I the only one who hasn’t really liked these covers so far? Ross looks like he’s phototracing everything and the faces are just bizarre, what’s with Leia’s face?

That said, so excited for this!

    • I actually think they are pretty cool. Different than a lot of other covers on the shelves recently. That said, Leia’s face does look strange.

    • I love this covers SOOO much. Its sadly the main reason I picked up the first issue

    • You’re not alone. I’m not a Ross fan, but usually I can see his appeal. I loathe these covers. His composition on both so far has been crowded (not to mention sloppy), and his tracing is uglier than usual. I enjoyed the first issue, but I’m not a fan of these at all.

    • I really like the covers to the first two issues.

    • Yeah the composition of this one is kind of weird don’t get me wrong though I’m a fan of Ross’s work this one just needs a little more of it.

Other than that I’m totally looking forward to this issue.

  2. (the following works much better if read in a Han Solo voice ala Return of the Jedi on Jabba’s skiff when he is about to be thrown in the Sarlacc pit)

    “Boba Fett? Boba Fett?”

  3. It’s funny…with all the crazy shipping that Marvel is doing, it seems like it has been forever since this book came out by comparison.

    • Yeah totally agreed. I’m reading a bunch of Marvel books right now and books on “normal” shipping schedules seems so far apart!

  4. Cannot wait until Wednesday.

  5. This is only a 3 book series right?

  6. First issue was fun. I think I’ll go another one and see how it goes. So far so good.

  7. Its just not meant to be my local shop sold out of 1st issue and the reprint. I really need to get a tablet reading comics on my laptop isn’t really fun.

    How was this issue?

  8. This was good. Wood is really well suited to write classic Star Wars material. While I enjoyed this a great deal, it does feel like two exposition-heavy issues in a row. Unnecessarily I might add. I get the premise, and I’d like to get to the action. Still, really good stuff.
