  1. I’m interested in this because I read the first 30 issues when I was a kid,  but not enough to buy it.

  2. @Brandon2 dude, same.  A lot of people seem to have gotten to that point.  I picked up #185, and I’ve gotta say, I think you’ll dig it and it’s great to jump on again.

When I was a kid, Spawn was the shit and I LOVED it and it feels great to read it again.  Warm and comfortable, like an old lover.

  3. Maybe I’m just not a big enough follower, but I picked up #185 and the "most stunning moment in the history of the series" did not feel that stunning.  Why was it such a big deal?

  4. @JesusSlanda Well… SPOILER WARNING for those that didn’t read last weeks issue.  Spawn died.  As in (supposedly) permanently.  Removed his head, which is supposed to be the only way to kill him.

  5. Yep. Did a review on that.

  6. @KZA – So, does this mean that another person is going to take the mantle of Spawn, Tim Drake style?  I guess I’m confused with whether Al Simmons took over another body, or if Al Simmons is dead and now Spawn is going to be another guy entirely.

  7. @JesusSlanda dunno dude… tune in to find out! 😉

(props on saying "Tim Drake style")

  8. @ ALL & SPOILERS

Yes, according to McFarlane Al Simmons is gone and will not be returning as Spawn.  Patient 47 is the new Spawn moving forward.  That is the dramatic nature of the book.  For 184 issues Spawn was Al and now it is Tom (I believe that is what his name will be revealed as in the next issue or two).

  9. @Brikhed – Sweet.

  10. This issue was bullshit :/

It basically re-iterated the last issue, although I’m not sure who that dude is that showed up at the end, or the chicks in the alley.
