This depresses me two fold. It hasn’t been good, and I think we’re losing one of my favorite Marvel characters
I’m so excited for this event to end! That being said, that cover is actually pretty sick. My dream is that we will get a Daredevil relaunce in 6 months with Bendis and Samnee!!! Really any solid writer working with Samnee on a Daredevil title would get my dollar.
Man, I was so excited for this event when it was announced and now I’m just hoping the characters make it through somewhat intact. Biggest Disappointment of the year for me.

I don’t think its quite as awful as everyone else. It’s entirely forgettable but there have been some good moments. Between this title and DD proper, I’ve given out a few 4’s
@Cutty I’ve been enjoying the DD tie-ins a lot more. Still weaker than pre-Shadowland issues, but much better than the Shadowland mini issues.
Shadowland: Power Man is where it’s at for this event though. That mini rocked.
@andybmcd Agreed, the DD tie-ins have been a little more noir-ish with less cheese. I love the art there too, not so much with Billy Tan
Oh, the DD title has been pretty solid actually but the Shadowland story itself has been super weak. The biggest thing is that DD and Diggle are so much better than this, I think that’s why so much fan outcry.
The last issue didn’t have a “Kung fu THIS!” moment, which is what I think was the only real saving grace of this mini. We’ll see how this turns out.
Glad this will be ending as well, guess Black Panther will be tacking over, wonder what will happen to Matt.
Prob in the minority in saying I enjoyed the Daughters of the Shadow tie-in, something about all-girl ninja groups I guess.
Daredevil Reborn is already set for January. However its still writen by Diggle.

@Franktiger would have liked to check out some of the other Shadowland tie-ins but I’m on a tight budget and the first one I bought was the Bullseye one-shot and I thought it was awful, would be interested in checking the others in trades. @Minion DD:Reborn is the last DD story Diggle says he will be writing for the time being.
@Minion yea, DD has really dropped off since the Bendis/Brubaker days, guess Jock will be doing double duty with Detective and DD?
@MegaPhilip the tie-ins have been hit or miss with lots o peeps, didn’t like the Power Man one when others did, just thought there were some fun aspects to Daughters cus not many all-girl groups out there, and Cherry Blossom in that book reminded me of Gogo Yubari from Kill Bill: Vol. 1.
@Franktiger Jock is only doing covers for Reborn.
@andybmcd I know, meant he’s doing work for both DC and Marvel, liked his Detective cover, but not that big a fan, he’s only doing three issues of Detective I understand, who’s doing Reborn interiors?
In twenty years will we look back on this time as the “reborn” age? It’s a little bit ridiculous. Either leave them dead or don’t kill them in the first place.

@Minion Yup. They pulled this same crap with Spidey and Punisher. Punisher redux turned out pretty interesting near the end though, and Spidey got Brand New Day. It seems DD is gonna get the shaft for a bit. I expect this Black Panther thing to last, at most, a year.
After Black Panther and after DD: Reborn, I will do everything in my power to get Rucka and Samnee on the monthly. Believe me, I don’t have any power in this industry.
Best issue of the mini, but it was still pretty bad. Unfortunately, it was not bad enough to be ‘train wreck’ bad, so it was just more of an annoyance.
