Sometimes a major event or mini-series ends on a shocking twist that has massive ramifications in the Marvel U.  Sometimes a minor event mini-series ends with a whimper.  Shadowlands went in like a Lion and came out like a lamb.  The final issue did have some good and nothing bad, but was ok.  The artwork was good especially the first couple of pages as Ghost Rider finally get in the battle.  Diggle did not write enough for any real climax.  The lack of surprise was that Matt was freed from the Beast demon and appeared to die, but then disappeared alive.  This book seemed more interested in launching the new Heroes for Hire book, the new Power Man and Iron Fist book, and getting Black Panther to take over the title.  I also was amused that Wolverine only appeared in one panel stuck under debris.  While Typhoid Mary got more panels.
