  1. I’m still really enjoying this. Kind of sad that Brubaker’s run won’t have one clear overarching story though with the news that he’s off the book soon.

  2. Yeah, hopefully this and the next two issues have some sort of wrap up of Brubaker’s run. I’m sure Spencer will continue what Brubaker started but I know I’m not staying to see the switch.

  3. @TheNextChampion  I’m on the other side of the fence. Dropped off SA after the first arc and am looking forward to the upcoming run from Spencer/Eaton.

  4. @TheNextChampion @Torippu I just hope they don’t throw away the team and recruit a new one.

  5. This is my last issue, haven’t enjoyed this arc at all

  6. I’ll be leaving along with Brubaker, i think. Maybe if i see some alluring art for the spencer run i’ll stick around.

  7. I’ve been loving this book and I expect to keep loving it, ’cause it’s awesome.

  8. Didn’t know Brubaker was leaving. But this arc doesn’t look like his heart is in it 100%, so a new writer migth not be bad.

  9. This storyline isn’t as solid as the first, but still pretty good. I enjoy Brubaker’s pulp influence in his storytelling and usually find his arcs paying off in the end.

Nick Spencer taking over this book is a great addition. Based upon what i’m reading in T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents, Spencer has the chops to make this book very interesting. I’m looking forward to seeing him take this book to new heights.

  10. last issue had that classic, someone’s disguised as a prison guard cliffhanger. and that person was Moon Knight. looking forward to this one

  11. @WaltKellysGhost  totally agree.  t.h.u.n.d.e.r. agents has been great, so i’m kind of excited to see what spencer will do with secret avengers.

  12. More Ant-Man plz. I think the promise of this book (despite the super amazing Nick Fury retro issue) and what was delivered were not really on the same page.

  13. How can you not love the tear-away costume to reveal Moon Knight? Probably the best Team issue yet. I’m all the more sad that we won’t get a super long run from Brubaker to grow the team.

  14. This was a pretty fun issue. Lots of great action in this and Deodato’s art was pretty damn good. Shame to see his art improve with this being his last issue. Also, still pretty upset this is going to be the end of Brubaker soon.

    4/5

  15. Steve drop kicking Steele from a thousand feet was pretty epic. I liked this well enough, didn’t feel ripped off or anything, but I’m underwhelmed with the series as a whole. A shame since I think the concept of the series is pretty great. I’ll probably stick it out until 13 to see what Spencer’s arc looks like before I make a final decision on the series, but right now it’s chances don’t look so hot.

  16. Shang-Chi was pretty damn lucky his neck wasn’t sliced there, that’s usually what happens in those kinda rituals traditionally, think that was a little bit of a cop-out there.  Somone at Marvel musta said, “No, we ain’t killing Shang-Chi right now.”

Deodato’s work in this was amazing.
