SCARLET #5

Scarlet’s message of rebellion and revolution has gone global, and she comes face-to-face with her supporters and detractors. What will the world look like when someone stands up and says, ‘Enough’? How far will the authorities go to bring her down, and is it too late?

  1. any one know if it’s been said if this will take breaks between arcs. I’m hoping not, and really, I’m hoping the arcs aren’t so concrete anyway.

  2. I love the look and feel of this, but the story drifted a bit on me the last issue or so. Hopefully Bendis can suck me back in here.

  3. @ABirdseysView  I thought I heard Bendis say that there would be a break on a recent episode of Word Balloon, but I may be mistaken.

  4. Best work BMB has ever done.  I’m really piqued to see this new issue.

These creators are lighting a fuse with this one. It’s empowering for sure. I’m eager to learn in the back pages about the real-life mayhem at Pioneer Square where someone tried to blow-up people at the Christmas tree lighting. The world is not suppose to be this way. Why do so many people have to be a$$h@les?

    *SPOILERS*

Maleev’s brilliance was all over the page with the tossed grenade. Alarm bells were ringing. Although, does something like color choice get scripted by the writer? I congratulate both men.

  7. All right so this is the end of the first story arc, so I’m looking forward to reading the issues I have piled up. 😀

  8. I love this series, but because its bi-monthly I think i’m going to wait for the trades.
