  1. Looking forward to seeing how this ends. Do your worst, Tim.  It’ll be a long time until you get to this point in the DCnU.

  2. Still really peeved this book is ending …

  3. I’m just sad that we’re losing all of the great character development that Tim’s had over the years. I’m sure the new stuff will be fine, but he’s such a fascinating character at this stage, it just seems a waste.

    Ah well…

  4. I’ve been waiting for this issue since the end of Blackest Night.

  5. This is the biggest bummer about the new 52. Both writers and the few artists that have done work on this title in the past two years have done amazing. Best book to come out of the batverse status quo change.

  6. One of the loses in the dcnu.

  7. I decided to jump on Red Robin with this issue. I ordered it and then heard the news. Ah well, I’m still looking forward to it.

  8. Red Robin has been my favorite Bat-book, sad to let this one go after this issue. Hopefully he will have his own series eventually. Can’t wait to read this one, though!

  9. I predict that he will have his own book again before October 2012

  10. Wow. Very surprised by the dark tone of the ending, but it’s all perfectly in line with Tim’s evolution throughout this title. Excellent ending to a series that I will miss very much.

  11. Sad to see this one (along with Batgirl and Secret Six) come to an end. Really liked the direction they were taking Tim in this series. The exchange between him and Bruce at the end left me wanting to see where this could go, but oh well. Hope Tim gets the respect he has earned in the reboot.

  12. This was fantastic. I was in such love of Yost’s run and nervous of Nicieza’s following. But after reading his 14 issues, I’m loving this book as much if not more. What a great end to one of DC’s best titles of the past 2 years. It’s a bummer it seemed to be so under the radar. Sad to see it go. I feel like Tim really grew into his adult pants through this epic. Well done to all the creators that worked on this beaute.

  13. This was a much more consistent ending then the Batgirl book.  Near perfect finale, though given that its the final note  for the Red Robin character before the reboot, it would have been nice to see a more positive interaction with Bruce. Overall, I’m going to miss Stephanie and Tim a great deal.  I know there will be A Tim in the new 52 but I can’t shake the feeling that his connection to the Batman family is going to be minimized.

  14. Was anyone else crossing their fingers for a hug between Tim and Bruce?

@skyfire124 – I would be so upset if Tim is separated from the batverse. He, to me, has the most interesting relationship with Bruce.

  15. Woulda been a better ending if Tim actually killed Cpt. Boomerang, woulda made for a very interesting storyline to follow after that.

Marcus To and Pere Perez on Batgirl have been revelations for me, hope they still have roles in the new 52.

  16. @Fvckstick  I dont think Tim will be separated so much from Batverse, as just downplayed.  I just get the feeling him being a major player there is done.  His new costume seems to have wings and focus on having some level of Flight ability.    I could be wrong, but I just get the feeling DC is going to acknowledge Tim’s role as Robin about as much as they do Stephanie Brown’s time as Robin.   Did it happen?  Yeah but we’re gonna try our damnedest not to talk about it much.

  17. Oh and Im one that really would have liked to have seen the series end on a hug….or at least some praise from Bruce.

  18. @Franktiger
Marcus To is going to be drawing the Huntress mini-series, which looks like a lot of fun.
