Like Batgirl, I hate to see this series go.  Over the course of this 26 issue run, I have found Tim Drake to be an amazing character, and it sucks to think I won’t be able to get my monthly fix of him next month (in his own stand alone title).  I was hoping for a great send off for the character, and I think this issue delivered that.  The story focuses on Tim as he struggles with wanting to kill Captain Boomerang.  We learn early on that Tim has been plotting this for some time, and the issue focuses on Tim as he struggles to go through with it.  I found the story to be yet another example of why Tim is a mad genius hero, and it further separates him from the pack of Bat-family members.  The ending was great, but also a bit disappointing because all I wanted was to find out where the character would go from here.  The creative team had finally lead Tim to a really interesting place, and it would have been awesome to see him continue to differentiate himself from the rest of the Bat-family.  This just didn’t seem like a complete conclusion, and in the end, it would have been nice to see him fulfill the destiny set out for him in this Red Robin series.  But such is the nature of comics, and I feel that this issue was wholly satisfying and a lot of fun to read.  Lastly, I want to mention just what a badass Marcus To has been on this book.  I love his art, and he is the perfect fit for this type of book.  I hope he’s able to pick up one of the “New 52” titles in the coming months.

Story: 4 - Very Good
