  1. that’s a very cool cover.

  2. Last Rocafort issue 🙁

  3. Lobdell is gonna have to put in some awesome writing for me to put up with the new average artwork. Could DC not have found another artist with some sort of distinctive style, even if it didn’t match Rocafort? It is very unfortunate that they have to hurt Red Hood and the Outlaws to try and help Superman.

    • I kinda agree, but I am a big Timothy Green fan. I just hope Lobdell and Rocafort continue kicking ass over on Superman, which has been pretty sucktastic so far, one of the biggest letdowns of the new 52.

  4. I would have given this a 5 if I wasn’t missing Rocafort so much. I like the new artist well enough but the layouts just are not as dynamic. Loved the 50 Shades of Grey joke though!

  5. Love the cover. Enjoyed this issue overall.

  6. Eh, writing-wise this was a decent issue. But the replacement artist showed me that I was really invested in this series due to Rocafort. Might even drop Red Hood to purchase Superman (and I’m not even a fan of ole’ Supes!!!). I’ll get next months issue for Jason Todd’s origin, but then I think I’m out.

  7. I’m really digging this series. I’ve missed Lobdell from when I was reading Uncanny X-Men back in the 90s and this new book makes me very happy. As to the artist change; honestly, I didn’t even realize there had been a change. Looking again; some of the faces are a bit stiff at first. But you can see the work improve in later pages. All looking just fine as far as I’m concerned.

  8. A very good issue. Kind of interesting to see all the history of Starfire.

  9. And yeah, that cover was pretty cool.
