  1. I liked this book a lot more when it was on its own, but I’m getting used to the new status quo of the Lanterns being in the book. I still enjoy it but not as much as I used to.

  2. I really liked this issue.  Loved that the rest of the cast showed up and did something for a bit, even if was very Starfire-centric.

  3. Did… Did Starfire just get retcon-raped? Or was that always part of her origin?

While I liked the issue it did make me a little uncomfortable and the art wasn’t very good.

  4. @Minion i dont think they ever said it but i think its left open by saying she was "abused" but w/e i kinda want the lanterns to leave…

  5. Eh, another so-so issue.  I’m still contemplatiing dropping this but can’t pull the trigger.  The story got kind of interesting and like andy said, at least all the characters where in it.  But the book continues to lack any real direction since the Starro story ended.

The art is rough.  The characters seem to exist in open space with tons of barren backgrounds and ugly color palettes.  The space backgrounds and foggy browns make it look like the stories taking place in front of a green screen.  This is a great example of a book that would be elevated with higher quality art.  Currently its just adding to the blandness.

  6. The book has had a good run. Adding Adam Strange and Lobo has kept me on board. With the promise of Starro’s return I will stay. I do wish an artist like Agustin Padilla would take over and the colors would pop like a "Space Opera" should. It seems DC has a lot of washed out looking titles lately.
