I was going to pick this up but there’s something in the artwork that feels amiss, although I thought the script was compelling it wasn’t enough to keep me onboard for this 4 issue run.
I’m with you, I am genuinely mystified by all the love. The art is close to terrible with the odd poorly-rendered CGI-ish heads. Dropped at #1.
Oh damn it! I forgot about this again….Well hopefully my LCS has an extra copy like last time. I knew I forgot to put something in my pullbin last week when I was adding Dial H.
I was lured to Ragemoor for Corben’s art, but I am staying for the awesome tale by Strnad. Such a unique tale!
Loved the first issue, exactly my kind of book. I could easily see this in an old issue of Creepy or Eerie. Really looking forward to this second issue.
The first issue was classic Hammer Horror…I’m eagerly awaiting the second issue.

Richard Corben’s art reminds me strongly of Robert Crumb.
