  3. Whoa, yea, prices for books are getting ridiculous, this was a flip through first for me anyways, but wonder if some will unpull this when they may have not otherwise if it was like $4.

  4. The one shots have been fantastic lately.

    But with a premise I’m not so interested in, and a ridiculous price……Probably not gonna pick this up.

    Seriously the last couple of one-shots are at least 48 pages to make up for the $4.99. Not here though… 

  5. The last PunisherMAX one-shot–Happy Ending–was outstanding. And the Frank was only in like 10 panels total!

  6. I didn’t like this very much. Huge info dumps of information in places and then pages of action that needed dialogue but didn’t have any. There is one promising moment when Frank is trapped in a promisingly scary situation but –

     – he’s released on the next page with no ingenuity at all. Perhaps I’ve been spoiled by the amazing writing Jason Aaron is doing on Punisher Max but I’ve found these one shots disappointing on the whole, with the exception of the amazing Brecon Beacons issue last year.
