While I am not interested in the new Wolverine series features Ryp’s art, I will definitely check this out. Milligan is no slouch either.
I’m totally excited about this for RYP’s art. Check out Black Summer and you will be too.
If anything, get this for Ryp’s artwork. He does amazing work in all of his Avatar stuff. If you liked what you saw in the Wolverine preview on the main page (or what you could see) then you must buy this.
If it weren’t for the art and all the buzz about the writing for Punisher MAX, I’d not be picking this up. The preview did it for me. Both the writing AND the art looked great.
I got this since my LCS didn’t have Superman/Batman.
The story was pretty bland and nothing was special about it. The art? Oh boy, you are in for a treat if you picked this up. A fantastic issue all around by Ryp and he shows just why he’s perfect for Marvel…..well at least for Punisher and Wolverine. (and apparently Moon Knight since no one stated Ryp was artist for his book)
