  1. Giving this a shot. The preview filled me with faith that this will be good, but I don’t know for sure yet.

  2. You get one chance Winnick.  Make it count.

  3. I don’t know if I can hop onboard with the art. I just looked at the previews, and I already miss Amandas art.

  4. What!?! The art’s gorgeous!!!!

  5. @vadamowens

True, but it’s no Amanda Conner.

  6. I think comic fans have serious issues with closure.  I’m going to write a book about it.

  7. look at that, Power Girl is going down.

  8. hmmm

  9. As good as always, but for different reasons.  Looks like I’ll be staying on.  Not sure why there’s not Brightest Day banner though.

  10. Quite good and quite similar, but with some slight variations in style and tone (in both art and storytelling.). Not sure that I like the interconnectedness to Generation Lost. However, while I enjoyed this. I’m going to be trade waiting this. 4/5

  11. What a delightful surprise:)

  12. Damn, I was looking forward to dropping a book from my budget but it looks like I’m going to stick through with this one. Oh well, I’m not complaining that much.

  13. After reading every single "Darkest Night" crossover, if I see another power ring, I’m going to hurl. Lots of other people feel the same way, and I’m avoiding ANYTHING with a "Brightest Day" on the cover. Now I must say goodbye to Power Girl. Amanda Conner’s art DEFINED this title, as well as the writing by Palmiotti and Grey, made this title a joy to read, in this day and age when every title seems hell-bent on killing off the good guys just to sell a few extra copies. This new "artistic vision" is terrible, and all you people jumping on the bandwagon and raving up the art just make me sick. Her hair is different, her boots are different, her body is different, and it’s not even her FACE! This isn’t Power Girl anymore, it’s some hideous, bizarro, pod-version from planet rip-off! I’m just going to call this title dead right now, instead of watching this abomination writhe through it’s death-throes for six more months and a lack of sales results in the public beheading of Winick and Basri and they bring back someone who can at least pay a homage to the origional team. Nuff said!

  14. Damn, TheKRAKEN42. What crawled up your ass, died, and made you shit blood?

  15. Very good, glad I will be sticking around

  16. Finally got around to reading this, the art for me is a big step down from Amanda Conner (to be expected) but it was still good and the story was better than I anticipated so I will be sticking with this, for a while anyways.

  17. Lol @ Omar’s coming!!!
