sigh. . . . .
Has anyone been reading The Massive in DHP?
Yeah I read them. It was good, but it only introduced a couple of characters. I don’t think it’s essential reading though before you start with The Massive #1. It does give you some idea of the scope and all it’s possibilities. I’ve pre-ordered my copy, to make sure I get one.
When does The Massive start?
Issue #1 should come on 14 June.
Thanks!
Feel like I need to hold a viking funeral on Wednesday…
Too bad, but it was a blast. What’s everyone’s favourite arc/one-shot?
Sven the Returned. By far.
I really like “The Plague Widow”.
The girl in the ice
I only jumped on with the Siege of Paris and have read a couple of older trades, but still need to catch up. So far though my favourite story was The Hunt one-shot.
Loved the Thors Daughter one shit.
Geez, one shot. Sorry, long work day.
This is a tragedy. I truly hope that either this exact series or one very close in spirit to it is in the works elsewhere. It is a testament to the quality and work done here for sure, but easily the saddest comic I’ve had to see ended in a long while.
If you enjoyed this, you’ll want to look into Wood’s Conan series.
Yes, Conan the Barbarian will fit that need; after all it is Brian Wood (which had to have been planned). My favorite story has to be Sven and I really liked the oneshot “Viking art of single Combat.” Thank you for the great series Northlanders team!
I love this series, kinda sucks to see it go but it had to end somewhere eventually. Wood’s current Conan run is good but still doesnt compare to the edginess of Northlanders.
