Did I hear that Booth isn’t going to be the artist for much longer? I thought he was ongoing but I thought I read somewhere he’s leaving… Hope not, he’s very suited for this book and is doing wonderful work.
Booth draws the New 52 Nightwing far better that anyone else. Sadly, this is his last issue. I’m curious to know who his replacement is.
@HolidayHaley I think its Brett Booth and Norm Rapmun next issue actually.
5$ The Prankster is the girl Nightwing took the room from!
I thought that but I looked back at the last issue and she has green eyes whereas the prankster has blue. Unless contacts I guess. She was the first person I thought of but I think that’d be way too obvious.
Hmmmm good find. Maybe the prank is on us, then? 😉
This has been a solid new run for Nightwing since going to Chicago. Surprised on how much I’m enjoying this.
Same. Sad to hear that Booth’s leaving the book. I’m really digging this.
Hopefully the next guy is good too. I know a lot of people weren’t very excited for Booth either when he started on the title.
Even though it’s not going to happen, I’d love if Jock came in for an arc. I loved his Dick as Batman during Detective, love his style and love his “acrobatics”!
Not generally a fan of Booth’s art, but it has been fine on Nightwing.
God, this is just everything I want in a comic. It not reinventing the wheel, by any stretch, but it clever, fun superhero action worthy of its’ title character.
I sure wish Booth was sticking around (turns out he was made to draw this book) but I’ll definitely keep reading after he’s gone. Great stuff.
Man, Booth really killed it here. A lot of wonderful layouts in the beginning and in general it’s a shocker on how much I’ve enjoyed his run on this book. Higgins is also doing a great job with this setting and giving Grayson a ton of interesting people to work with. Not sure who is taking over this book on art after this but as long as the story stays interesting I’ll still be on board.
4/5
Probably the best issue in the series so far for me personally, one of the best anyway. It had it all working, Higgins brought enough humour to this one and Booth’s art worked perfectly, his layouts were superb. Top stuff.
Great issue. This Prankster is turning into an interesting character. I can’t wait to see more of him.
