  1. Brett Booth!?

That wasn’t part of the deal Higgins! That wasn’t part!!

    • Booth might actually make me buy this comic. He’s a poor man’s Jim Lee – always kinda liked him since Backlash way back in the day.

But I think Higgins’ stories are about as dull as they come.

  2. Yeah, I’m not a massive Brett Booth fan :v

  3. I LOVE Brett Booth’s art. I loved his art on Teen Titans. He draws a sexy Dick.

  4. I think Brett Booth is just about perfect for Nightwing.

  5. Original post aside, I was actually surprised on how much I enjoyed Booth’s art here. It’s not perfect what with some stiff panels and odd character reactions. But for the most part this was good to look at and I especially loved the coloring by Andrew Dalhouse. Higgins did a pretty good job setting up the new setting in Chicago for Grayson and also a new rogue’s gallery for him. They aren’t the most conventional people but at least we’re getting away from established, Batman villains now. I was so ready to trash this but I ended up enjoying it. So yet again this series continues to surprise me to stick with it for another month.

    4/5

  6. I’m loving the move to Chicago. Gives this title a breath of fresh air. The best part was his trip on top of the train, “Waaaahooooo!!” 😉

Booth’s art isn’t the best but they can’t all be David Aja or Andrea Sorrentino.
