  1. Don’t usually buy this book, but I want the new origin.

  2. What? Tom DeFalco? Noooooooooooooooo.

I’ve hated what he’s done in the new 52. His writing feels stuck in the 90s. Bad Marvel 90s. Why is DC giving him work?

Not like I’m a huge Higgins fan – I think he is just sort of there. But his dialogue hasn’t caused me pain like Tommy D’s.

  3. DeFalco?

  4. Pretty weird origin story to me, the art was great though.

Tension headache, eyes twitching, teeth grinding. lolwtf?

  5. Just like Gail Simone took good care of figuring out Batgirl’s timeline; in this issue, Kyle Higgins repeats the same feat by giving Dick Grayson a neat new start. Eddy Barrows improves his artistic style with every issue, and his panels are fun, dynamic, and always fluid.

  6. This is pretty weak. I’m dropping soon.

  7. I liked this issue, good telling of the origin I thought. And good lead into next issue with Lady Shiva.
