He seems like a pretty trustworthy guy. He’ll probably be a real gentleman.
this was a great issue, also i love the breather issues like this.
I walked into the shop today expecting this to be my last issue of New Mutants. I enjoyed the Blink arc, but just felt like my 2.99 might be better spent on a different book. But knowing this was a done-in-one, I decided to give it a chance anyway.
I don’t know how much longer I’ll stick with this book, but if the next arc is as good as this issue was, I think I’ll be reading New Mutants for a while!
I am in complete agreement with you on this. I want to really like this book too. The Blink arc was ok, but hoping the next arc sells me on this book or it’s gone for something else.
Oh, and David Lopez’s Me*HIP*sto looked great. In fact, other than Magma’s weird face on the first splash page, I thought the art on this book really brought out the fun tone in the script.

This was so good! I had so much fun reading this.
This was one of the hokiest things I’ve ever read but somehow they pulled it off. I think was largely thanks to David Lopez’s art selling the story.
