  1. I have no doubt this is going to be a great series (great writer/artist team), I just wish it wasn’t called Mystic.
Marvel could have used the Crossgen lable to launch a whole series of non-super-hero action/adventure comics with original ideas (which they’ve done with Sigil and Mystic) and relaunch some of the old Crossgen lines (which they did with Ruse). But by using the names Sigil and Mystic for unrelated titles, they’ve pretty much killed any chance of seeing the originals return in any capcity (like new Reprint collections!). So dumb. Its not like these names carry any kind of marketing weight (except Ruse, which as a result to stay the way it used to be. Which is GREAT and how it should be done). Its just trademark squating pure and simple, and the logos they’re using are so dull and boring to boot.

  2. I gotta say, the art looks amazing in this. Simply amazing.

But I got too much right now to buy so this is a definite trade wait.

  3. This is a great creative team. It’s only 4 issues so I guess I’ll try it out. Also, that cover is flat out beautiful.

  4. I didnt realize this was out, but I picked it up to try it out, and was pleased to see how good it was.
