MARVELS EYE OF CAMERA PREM HC

The long-awaited sequel to the award-winning publishing sensation that made Kurt Busiek and Alex Ross into stars! News photographer Phil Sheldon’s back, with the man-on-the-street’s perspective on the big events of the Marvel Universe, from the Avengers, the all-new X-Men and the Secret Wars to Dracula and the Werewolf By Night. But this time, Phil’s world is going to be rocked not just by superheroes and super-villains — but by something far more personal, as well. 1. The cover (and I’m sure the interior art) is trying so hard to be Alex Ross and it’s falling so, so short (and I’m so not a Ross fan).

  2. "Written by Kurt Busiek"? That’s not the way I remember it. I read this in issues, and even the people making it seemed to abandon ship halfway through.

  3. I’m actually interested in trying this out. So many people said bad things about it and the last issue was extremely late. Judging from the cover I do like Anacleto style. Does look a bit like Ross but not fully.

  4. @Jimski – Busiek said before issue #1 he was using a script collaborator on the last issues using some writer that had a definitive take on newer Marvel characters that Busiek lacked a personal vision on.  Therefore he planned to hand the script over for those characters.
