I love the variant cover for this! Frog Thor! I recommend checking out the preview for this if you are unsure about it. As soon as it showed Frog Thor, I knew I would love this.

I didn’t like Fin Fang Foom last week, but I’m hopeful this will be fun.

Much like the Tawky Tawny scene in Final Crisis, if someone doesn’t find the concept of the Pet Avengers to be awesome comic book fun, then I don’t think we would get along well in real life.
The idea of this book is fantastic, I’m pretty confident that Eliopolis can deliver. His Franklin Richards stories are always entertaining.
To best of my knowledge Redwing is Falcon’s falcon, Hairball is Speedball’s cat, Lockjaw is Crystal’s dog (of the In-humans), Lockheed is Kitty Pryde’s dragon, and, well the Thor Frog, is a devolved Norse God of Thunder. Curse you, Loki

I love lockejaw but I really don’t like his mustache. I like how Jae Lee just drew him as a gigantic bulldog sans mustache. Even in previous comics where he does have a mustache it doesn’t stand out as much as it did in this book. There were a couple panels where it looked really bad

during secret invasion is was almost positive Lockjaw was a skrull…..im still not so sure he isent. hehehe
you missed Ms. Lion, Aunt May’s Dog. this book was much better than i expected. im digging it and cant wait for next issue. next i want to see a book where thor teams up with throg. please marvel.
