@Aquaman-Tell them to preorder the next issues for you!!! I’m sure they can still get the first two issues out. This arc seriously has the potential to be better than the first.

Just read the HC and I think I am going to wait for the next HC for this one. How many issues is this arc (Head Games) as well as the series at a whole??? Anyone read Joe Hill’s fiction books? I’m thinking of giving them a shot since his comic writing is so damn good.
@comicdork37-Before the start of this arc, Joe Hill stated that he had 24 more issues planned plus a stand alone OGN. He said he might even extend it to 36 issues, assuming he can keep the momentum going. Either way, there is a set ending that he has in mind
I’ve also read his books. Heart-Shaped Box is pretty fun. I enjoyed it. 20th century ghost has some good and some meh stories. But overall, I recommend both books.
@Aquaman my shop didn’t have the first run of this series. I asked them to get it in, they did, and now numerous people subscribe to it.
Now with all that being said some of the books that have more pulls than this? Come on people….
Last issue was the best in the series so far. Amazing art, and a story that is like nothing else I’m reading in comics. Adventure/mystery/horror.
This series is consistently one of my favourites every month. I got the first arc in hardcover and it’s a beautiful book. I’m really glad that there are plans to keep this story going for awhile cause that means lots of goodness for me to read for awhile. I think I will probably eventually pick up some of Joe Hill’s other books as well, just based on the strength of this series.
Should I read the 1st 6 issues before Head Games?
@WetWork-nah, the inside cover brings you up to speed pretty much. Though I still recommend reading them cuz they rock.
The best book out there at the moment. Everything about it oozes goodness – amazing art from rodriguez, compelling, intelligent and well paced story, fantastic covers and superb grade of paper – this is without doubt the best value for money in your LCS at the moment. I am so excited for this.

I bought the HC and enjoyed it so much I picked up first two issues of Head Games the next day at my LCS. Read this last night and was blow away.
This was okay…but, and maybe it’s just me…did Joe Hill ramp up the profanity a ton? I don’t remember this being having that much profanity in it. Kinda jarring…I was scratching my head about it so much that it took away enjoyment from me.
What an amazing book. It looks stunning and is oozing imagination. The next issue can’t come out fast enough. POTW by far!
