    Never read any Animal (only been reading comics for a year) but I picked up the first issue and LOVED IT!

    Really looking forward to #2, That is a great cover.

    I’m really glad that they set this one in the near future, and not in continuity. (it being the last days of Animal Man and all)  I’m really interested to see where it’s going.  The cover looks like we might be for some more insight into Buddy’s origin; so what were those aliens doing anyway?

    The blue whale Green Lantern is awesome! The rest of the issue is OK.
