This looks really good!

Intriguing
remender talks a fantastic game. he sells the shit out of his books but do they meet their pitch? Gigaintic sounded awesome. in reality, it fell a little flat. i’m going to approach this with a little trepidation
How many pages is this?
4.99? Geez..
Take a shot for gratuitous boobage.
Bargain of the week. 64 ad free pages for $5.
that’s the second time JJ has mentioned boobage this week. I think he’s a little…. anxious. hee hee
The bi-monthliness makes me hesitant, but that art is just too good.
Also, I couldn’t make out the signature, so does anyone know whose cover is which, and if they’ll have an even ratio?
ok at first i wasnt going to get this, but Rick’s interview on talksplode convinced me to get it.
My store didn’t order any copies of this. Judging by the fact that it had a rating of 2.3 when I left, I’ll assume I’m not missing out.
@Slockhart – Cover A (seen above) is Maleev. Cover B is Tocchini. My shop only seemed to have the Tocchini cover.
My comic shop also didnt have this in stock. oh well, guess I’ll wait for the trades then.
Oddly enough, I bought this because it was in that "prestige"-type format. That’s close enough to trade for me to justify buying it in single issues.
Gonna go read it now!
All the shops I went to in AZ (5 of them) were either sold out or never ordered it.
Hopefully my reorder will come in quick.
Excellent!!
I could totally switch to the format of 64 pages for $4.99
This was a GREAT read! The art is fantastic and the writing is just superb. This is some of Remender’s finest work. Awesome sci-fi/noir caper. Can’t wait for the next 2 issues!!!
Meh 3 star book. Story was hard to follow some. If I haden’t heard all of Remenders press leading up to this I would have no idea what was going on.
did anyone else hear remender say tocchini is as good as jim lee on around comics? what a hyperbole strouting wind-bag.
anyway, it was a good issue. it had huge story telling problems, the art was insanely difficult to follow but at the same time, very pretty. the story made no sense but luckly i heard remender explain it in the talksplode.
still, i liked it. oddly, it reminded me of the Message by Gtrandmaster Flash. you know, all that shitty urban decay and stuff
Was kind of annoyed that some panels were meant to be read straight across and some down and over. Overall, through, this was a solid book. Felt like a movie.
The sex scene was hot though
yup, that guy draws great nipples
I really didn’t find the story difficult to follow at all. The only thing I had an issue with was the API broadcast… that wasn’t explained very well. However, the Q & A at the end of the book cleared it up.
That gritty, noir dialogue is going to be so awesome on the big screen. Can’t wait.
yeah, but…
the API broadcast is a pretty important part of the story… very important, really
