Quite possibly THE BOOK that made me leave comics back in 1984. Terrible writing; worse art. Al Milgrom at his hackiest.
Terrible, terrible, terrible. Don’t reward Marvel for reprining this. If you really, really need to read it go check it out from your library. If you really, really need to buy it I have the number of a good therapist.
@ChrisNeseman: Yeah, I was gonna comment on that, since you drug out the traumatic memories of this book from the dark recesses of my twisted mind.
BTW Chris, what’s your favorite high end bourbon or other style American whiskey? Enquiring minds…
Dragging this from a dim and distant memory – the art in this was total pants.
Plus, has anyone actually tried re-reading Clearmont written X-men from that time? Ugh. I did and it spoiled a nice memory that they were actually good.
