  1. Picking this up because I want to see how Krul can rehab these characters, but as a long term fan I’m not enjoying the direction of events as much.

Also, is it me is it rather clear that Horn drew two arms in there and then just "Erased" it out? Because it someone doesn’t seem position right.

  2. did the predator shoot he’s arm off? because that cover is very Carl Weathers

  3. Arsenal ain’t got time to bleed.  well actually, it looks like he does.

I’m really liking Krul’s writing, I think he needs a few issues to get  some gears turning post Cry for Justice, but I’m really excited for this series and the ongoing Green Arrow.

  4. @edward "wait! there’s still meat on that bone. throw that and some potatoes in water…baby you got a stew going on".

  5. @Vadamovens: yup

  6. Hooray for Arrested Development references.

  7. @OwlyFan: yup

  8. I’m going to give this a try.  Solely based on my interests in the Titans and Robinson’s JLA.  We’ll see if I stick around for the rest of the mini.

  9. I have to say this again. I’m enjoying the way Krul writes these characters, but… I hate the direction of this all. There were some unforgivable scenes, such as the women crying over Roy and the men all cool and reserved. It was really disappointing to see. Also, the addiction sub-plot is more than a little trite in a book called THE RISE of the main character. 3/5

  10. Funny, @Prax, I used the words "unforgivable" and "trite" in my review above.

  11. Better than I expected – but not great.
I don’t like that this title and the Green Arrow titles are continuing the Cry For Justice "saga".
(Funny how Cry For Justice originally read like an Elsewhere title – where you didn’t know if the story would be canon or not . . . I guess now we know.)

  12. So… that scene in the morgue definitely got me…

  13. looking at all dc had ready for her dead i don’t think robinson came up with killing her. damn if the scene in morgue didn’t hit me hard.
