  1. This is the series I’ve been waiting for.

    • I haven’t read much Judge Dredd books, but I really like IDW’s other Judge Dredd series, so I’m really looking forward to this classic series.

  2. IDW’s two other Dredd series have acted as the perfect primer for getting into these classics stories I never knew I should have been reading. They planned this out perfectly.

Here, have some new Dredd #1s… now, read the back matter that gives you the history of the original series…. like that? yeah? here… BAM! Classic tales! Muhahahaha!

    Evil geniuses running IDW.

  3. Glorious subscription cover… But after I opened it up, I remembered that 2000 AD is a magazine format and, therefore, does not fit properly in a conventional comic book format. As a result, IDW basically gives you big white bars at the top and bottom of the page interiors. Its like watching a widescreen blockbuster film on your old-ass 17″ tube tv. Not for me, especially considered I could find this reprinted in a TPB elsewhere; maybe not in colour, but if that’s how it was originally printed then that’s how the artist anticipated the line work to look anyways. Maybe if the series is modestly priced? No, IDW never prices anything under $3.99…ever. Its sad because I love IDW, but give me a break, I don’t want to pay extra for the nice paper. I put this one back
