  1. This is one of my Favorites-Love the one and done stories

  2. What do people think about Rafa Garres?

The issues he’s done in the trades I’ve read are…..well they’re awful.

  3. I’ve never read a Jonah Hex comic, so this’ll be my first.  Here’s to hoping its par for the course.

  4. @TheNextChampion  Eh … it’s … not my favorite.  The figures seem kind of malformed.  Some degree of that works — this isn’t a John Wayne Western after all.  Will I pick the issue up?  Definitely.  Will I wish it were Jordi Bernet?  Yes.

  5. @TheNextChampion  I like it. I think it fits with the overall tone of the gritty Jonah Hex. Though I do like the rotating artists too.

  6. I find his style interesting at the expense of his storytelling.

He drew one of my favorite issues in the whole run. The one where Jonah is overwhelmed by a bunch of slaves.

When his storytelling is off, the comic is almost unreadable.

  7. I don’t know if it was the art, the colors or the angular speech balloons, but reading this was challenging — and not in a good way. I’ll stick around until through the summer, but this is proving to be too hit or miss for me to have it on the pull list.

  8. Though I agree it was a challange at points I really liked the art in this issue. Jonah never lets me down.

  9. His storytelling has improved greatly since his last issue. This was an awesome issue. Love how Hex navigated through this seemingly dangerous prediciment. Had some dark humor and it kept me guessing on how it was going to be resolved. 5/5

  10. Garres’s art is incredible, this was great.

  11. I just got this issue in and I was very happy with this.
