  1. So are people going to read it now that Eaglesham is on. The first arc was ok, but the second one was the best since Extremis, which isn’t saying much, I know, but it was quite good.

    • I couldn’t stand the Greg Land facial expressions but yeah I’m on board for this one after dropping off of the first issue of the second arc.

  2. gREG lAND IS GONE!?hALALUJA! i THOUGHT THIS DAY WOULD NEVER COME!

    • Sorry about the all caps.

Greg Land is gone? Hallelujah! I thought this day would never come!

Love Iron Man and even bought the first 5 comics in this run but I simply could not enjoy the comic due to those faces.

  3. I’m really curious to check out this arc, but it’s hard for my budget to justify a $4 double-shipping Marvel book at the moment.

    And Gillen’s writing Death’s Head? Damn, that’s tempting . . .

  4. Is Iron Man double shipping?

  5. I’m jumping on because the art change. Although it isn’t permanent as Land WILL be back in a few months. But for now I wanna give this book a shot. Although, apart from the Land hate, I see no one talking about this series.

Has the story itself been good?

  6. I don’t want to ruin everyone’s week of the mighty Dale Eaglesham on art but Greg Land is back on interiors with #13!

I am very sorry one & all.

    • Eh, it’s three issues of Iron Man sans Land. I’ll enjoy what I get and drop it when he’s back. Sorry Kieron!

  7. Man there is such a difference with a competent artist on this one. First issue I read that really incorporated Gillen’s style within the frame work of Iron Man. So lame that Land is coming back in 3 issues.

  8. hands down best issue so far.

  9. Can anyone reccomend some good iron man stories for someone wanting to get into the character?

  10. Was anyone else put off by the recap page using the introductory verbiage style from Hawkeye? “This is what he (Tony Stark) does when he’s not a Guardian of the Galaxy.” Ouch. Whoever wrote that needs a good “talking-to” by his boss. This is definitely a learning opportunity!

  11. Yeah….Was I suppose to read Guardians of the Galaxy or at least the last issue of Iron Man to get what’s going on? This was confusing to start with and while I got what was happening later it was still off putting. I do like the big robot dude that was ‘helping’ Stark out before the twist. The art by Eaglesham was good but it felt like he was trying to mimic Greg Land….which is a big mistake.

I don’t know. I’ll give this one more issue but if it doesn’t grab me I’ll probably drop it.

    2.5/5

  12. The art was Great! i love the artist on this book, Dale Eaglesham does a great Iron Man. I’m not too hot on the story so far but that i can only truly judge when its all said and done.
