I’ve read literally everything else by Gillen but I’m going to drop this, as much as it hurts my OCD. It’s just boring. Maybe if I stuck with it for like 5 issues, it would start flowing better. I just don’t have the energy or the will though.
I’m enjoying the direction Gillen is taking this book. Land is mediocre at best though, but he never sticks around for too long so I’m not overly worried.
Really like Gillen, really want to like Gillen on Iron Man, really don’t so far. May well be dropping this very soon unfortunately.
Dropping this title. I love Iron Man, I love his new his new suit, I love the story but… The art… It ruins what would have otherwise been a great book. Sad, really. Very sad.
Got the first issue of this, as my old subscription lapsed.
Really glad I dropped it.
Didn’t pick this up at the store today because I’m planning on trade waiting this book, I flipped through it and Greg Land’s work actually looked pretty decent this issue though. Anyone who actually read the issue agree?
The art was less of a problem in this issue. Story so far on 3 issues is worth the purchase. Exciting and I am very much looking forward to seeing what will happen next.
I dropped as well. The story just didn’t pop for me. The art was also a little distracting as well. With so many options you really have to wow me to get a spot on my pull list. This just doesn’t make the cut.
