  1. So, what’s the word on this title?

    • I dropped it after issue 3, it’s entertaining but not as good as Daredevil. It’s basicLly Hulk smashing into different parts of the Marvel U in a fun way, if you got $3.99 to throw around there’s others that I would recommend first but it’s not bad.

    • It’s excellent, a good solid script with some amazing art.

  2. The Simonson art has been awesome, I may not stick around when he is off art duties

  3. I’m actually on the entire other side of the spectrum. I can’t wait for Simonson to off this book. Nothing against this legend, I’m just not feeling it on this title.

  4. Well written and entertaining, but nowhere near the must-read of Daredevil. Finishing my commitment with #12.

  5. This is a series that has been blessed with great artists. First Yu, now Simonson, and then next arc we’ll get Scalera for the Daredevil arc. I never really read a book with his art but the sketches shown on this site for ‘Weekly Sketch’ up has me excited.

  6. Great issue.

  7. Fun issue and it makes me wish Simonson could go back to full art duties on ANY book again. Even with some help on inks this man killed it on so many pages. If anything this arc is going to be remembered for the art more than anything else. I mean what’s here is good by Waid, but not the strongest story he’s ever penned if I’m being honest. Still, a fun issue overall and now I wanna go and read some Simonson’s Thor run if you excuse me.

    4/5

I dropped it after #2, I think I may of over hyped it to myself with how great Daredevil is. But jumped on for this current arc thinking if it’s good I could pick up the first trade. I’ve really enjoyed this current arc and look forward to see how it’s resolved. I’ll probably stick around but not 100%.

  9. This is great! This issue in particular had me feeling like I was reading something Jack Kirby drew. Loving this title. Hulk and Thor vs. Frost Giants, and this is only the beginning. Good stuff.

  10. This was good but is anyone else just not feeling it? I mean each issue has been good but it feels like a series of one shots nothing connected issue to issue. I am I wrong or missing something?

  11. I like this book a lot. It’s not going t be “classic” most likely, but it is still head and shoulders above most superhero titles. I will forever cherish this Simonson arc because the scale of the story is Kirby-esque with art to do that concept justice, and Waid knows how to write stories that I like.

Frost Giants trying to invade Midgard through a time portal created by Banner so they can steal some Eiderdum and make a kick-ass superconductor? What a premise!

And, for me, Waid and Simonson have completely delivered. 4/4 in a sea of average, at best, titles on shelves.

Scalera on art thrills me to no end. Plus, a tie-in with DD somehow? There’s no way I’m dropping this. (sorry Earth 2, with Robinson gone, I dont’ see it).
