  1. Not liking Aaron so far with his Wolverine obsession and Wolverine kissing Jean’s dead ass and all but damn WHAT A COVER!
Silvestri’s a hit and miss but so far so good from the previews

  2. Ah, Good thing they slapped their crappola “Shattered Heroes” banner on this. Let’s saddle this relaunch with as much crappy pseudo-event continuity as we can.

  3. I almost don’t want to buy this because of the fucking banner. I almost have completely dropped all my marvel books except for the ultimate line and a few select books like wolverine and dare devil. Hope this is good because my faith in marvel is dropping more every month.

  4. I’m not a doctor, but shouldn’t those biceps be positioned behind the pecs?

  5. Never been a huge Hulk fan but with Aaron on it what do I have to lose?

  6. What the heck is “Shattered Heroes?” I must have missed something by not reading the recent event (I can’t even think of the name right now).

I end up liking most everything Aaron does, but I really can’t stand Silvestri. I’ll flip through this at the store, but will most likely wait to see how Ron, Josh, and Conor like it.

  7. Wooooo Jason Aaron! Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck Marc Silvestri! He was the worst part about the past couple issues of Journey into Mystery.

    Getting this anyway though.

  8. I haven’t read much of Jason Aaron’s writing, but I have been reading the Hulk for awhile now. I’m excited about it and am looking forward to where he goes with it.

  9. I found this to be pretty damn awesome.

  10. I dug it. I’ll be sticking around for a while.

  11. This was great. I loved how Hulk backhanded the crap out of that agent. Lots of great moments in this issue. Especially that part with Banner.

  12. I really liked this. But havn’t been reading the hulk. Any recap on how he got to the center of the earth, or what series/storyline that is in?

    • I think you know as much as we do about all of this and it will be explained with time.

Unless im wrong the only thing i know is that after Fear Itself he and Banner got seperated from his body somehow and it may or may not have had to do with something that happened in the Hulk vs Dracula Fear itself mini series.

    • I think it actually happened at the end of Fear Itself, in one of the epilogues. Somehow Hulk choked Banner and separated himself from him. I’m sure it will all be explained later down the line.

  13. It was good but not amazing but enough to keep me on for the next issue, definetly seems like theres going to be a intresting story here

  14. Pretty underwhelming- I was excited to see them get away from the whole “how many hulks can we fit in one book” theme, but this generally fell flat for me. Hulk just want to be left alone, but we never let him. Probably out after this issue given the price point (sadly I have had to drop several marvel books that I like just because of the hefty price tags)

  15. Hulk’s beard is awesome, but this adds more wood to the fire to why Red Hulk cannot have a moustache. Is it because it would not only make people fear him because of his look but also because they fear he will rape them?

  16. It was an enjoyable read, and I liked the art, but I dunno… I haven’t been a HULK guy since Peter David’s run, and there are too many other great comics for me to be reading. Like PLANET HULK, for instance! If I’m gonna spend my ducats on the mean green machine then I really should be poring over Mr. Pak’s oeuvre…

  17. I haven’t read the Hulk in a long time and this is my first Jason Aaron issue so far so good.
