    It always annoys me, when people talk about Marvel now and say “Marvel never does retcons.”

    Marvel has a whole series made up entirely of retcons!

      I don’t think these are ‘retcons’. I think they’re more ‘recaps of stories everyone already knows’. Well except for Ant-Man and Dr. Strange cause they aren’t well known.

      I assume they have to update a lot of historical background and cultural references: Change WII to Vietnam, change Vietnam to Iraq, change Communism to Islamic fundamentalism or some made up HYDRA stuff.

      To be fair, I don’t think most would say Marvel doesn’t do retcons. They say Marvel hasn’t “rebooted”, like the new 52. They do retcons all the time naturally. And the Spidey retcon was so huge it was a reboot. Of course it’s all the same wacky stuff heh.

    Just received this in the mail today and was pleasantly surprised that it came free digital code. Also, I love how smooth the covered felt. Anyway, I started reading this and I’m loving it so far. The art is beautiful and I’m loving the story. A bit of a new take on some of the characters is nice. I hope more of these come out (Hulk ones).
