The special House of Mystery issues are always the best.
At comiccon, the Vertigo panel only mentioned HoM in passing. Damn, can’t this awesome book get any love? Even from its own publisher?
I picked this up because I had some store credit and recently got back into Hellblazer and I really dug this slot more than I expected to. Liked all the little stories and since when has Allred’s art but that good? Dude changed his style when I wasn’t looking. This was slot of fun, and even though I have no interest in the House of Mystery as an ongoing, I could dig picking up these annuals ever Halloween. Now I kind of want to find the first one.
I can’t believe everyone ins’t gushing over this issue.
