  1. I read Layton’s original run on Hercules and I really loved it. A mix of surreal, adventurous, and funny moments for the character. Kinda like Pak/Van Lente’s run but in space!

    Looking forward to this. 

  2. Yeah, I liked Layton’s first mini as well. The cover of the first issue is iconic. But I don’t care for that red and black outfit he wore in the second series — and it looks like he is still stuck with it. I don’t know — it’s been 20 years or so since the second mini, this just doesn’t seem very relevanta to me.

  3. This was better then I thought.

    Not the best story, but still entertaining. The art by Layton/Lim is still top notch though, even if the backgrounds are a bit too simplistic. I’m okay on sticking with this mini for the whole run.
