  1. Two issues in and it is quickly becoming my favorite Hellboy story. I know some wanted nothing but punching from the get go but this slow burn and ‘haunting’ tone has really made this amazing to read.

    • The whole “slow burn and haunting tool” is such an effective way to introduce a vast and unknown place like Hell. I’m glad Mignola didn’t just have Hellboy swinging punches as soon as he was approached by a demon.

  2. Some of the panels look truly amazing, but some just look lazy.
