Really happy Tim has moved this over to Image. Should be a good ride.
Looking forward to jumping on here. "DON’T MISS" worked
I’ve heard great things about Hack/Slash but never picked up an issue. I’ll flip through it and see what I think, but if that cover is any kind of indicator, I’ll at least have to pick this one up.
Giving the new Image jumpover a shot. Hope this is more than just violence. I am not easily offended, but I can get easily bored.
I like the concept, but I haven’t been too keen on the art anytime I have picked this up. However, I’m on for a couple.
@amircat If you do like this issue, you may want to consider buying the first omnibus. It really is pretty funny, the art’s beautiful, and the stories are good.
@ snappants- this book does have alot of tna and violence which always adds to the story not just page filler and is tempered with great characterations with heart. i think you will be surprised by this one
I already ordered the first two from DCBS. I’m committed to this mini. If it really floats my boat, I’ll pick up the ongoing when that start up. Looking forward to the whole thing.
Reading the first few one shots and ongoing on Ipad, only $1.15 per issue in Australia compared to $2.50 for most other series so is really great value!
I love Hack/Slash, but I think I want to see the art before I make the decision.
@vadamowens – yeah, that would be fun. When I first got back into comics in 2009, my friend let me borrow one of the omnibuses and it was cool. This time I will be more savvy.
I’m pulling this book because of Chris Neesman and Around Comics. See the power it wields from beyond the podcast grave!
This did nothing for me
This must be a different artist from last time I picked this up. Fun read all around- I’m in!
Jenny’s cover is magnificent.
