GREEN LANTERN: NEW GUARDIANS #5

A spacecraft the size of a solar system is on a collision course with Oa, home of the Guardians!

As the AWOL Green Lantern Kyle Rayner and members of each of the different Corps make their way to the alien vessel, deep within the ship – within the very sun that serves as the craft’s fuel source – the creature known as Seraphon stirs.

A major new threat to the DC Universe debuts here!

  1. Read issues 1-4 this week and really dug on them. I’m on this book now.

I have not tired of the rainbow corps.

    • Agree totally with you Scorpion…..so many angles and stories that can be explored with this title if it continues to be well-written. Much like Red Lanterns, this title seems to be able to stand on it’s own with any “help” from the greater Green Lantern or GL Corps titles.

  2. I forget what happened recently. Wasn’t Larfleeze involved?

  3. Larfleeze has been a part of this title which has been very cool, although I do not understand how the GL Corps. has so many threats that cause danger for the DCU every few months?? If it wasn’t for the triumphent return of Lar-Lar I would not be reading this title, sorry.

  4. I hope to see, on earth, New Guardians stories in the future.

    • I’m not sure if I agree….the “parent” Green Lantern title already has some earth-based feel, as I’m sure GL Corps will with Stewart & Gardner starring…..I wouldn’t mind NG drifting across the cosmos from planet to planet, engaging the help or animosity of various Green Lanterns in whichever sector they happen to be in, and telling really great stories revolving around the various Color-Corps and their perspective emotional slants.

  5. This is the first Green Lantern book I’ve enjoyed enough to stick with. I think the writer’s setting up the characters pretty well to make each one compelling, and with some good mysteries mixed in there. Either that or I just like the Orange Lantern stuff, not sure…

  6. Well I sorta read it and the artwork was very good however much like Superman I started to drift off and really just flipped to the end and said to myself, myself…. we will need to read this again I think. Don’t know what had happened here it just really lost me like from the fourth or fifth page on. I don’t know??????
