  1. I will miss the sexual tension between Kyle and Bleez.

  2. I’m going to miss the hell out of Fatality. I do have to give DC credit for deciding to give Carol a more conservative costume. I never understood how she could allow herself to fly into space dressed like a stripper. Let’ see if Tony Bedard can convincingly write a good reason for the team getting back together, Larfleeze, Arkillo, and Saint Walker left just an issue ago…

  3. I really wanted Carol to get her own book but this will have to do for her for now.

  4. This book is great. Doesn’t sound like its going to be an origin story which is fine by me. Arkillo and Atrocitus in the same book = awesome.

  5. This title never fails. Love it.

  6. when you can get larfleeze to help you, you know shit has hit the fan.

  7. After reading this, it seems to me that they might be setting up Kyle for very big things in the future…I approve.

    • Agreed. Here’s hoping for a new status for Kyle aside from “The other, other, other Green Lantern.”

I quite enjoyed this. Kyle and Carol were surprisingly fun together. Kind of a “hanging out with your older brother’s girlfriend” thing. I dig.

    • Then again…they could just hype up Kyle….only to have him fail in the end.

  8. Not exactly a 0 issue, and half the solicit text didn’t happen, but I was still surprised by how much I enjoyed this.

  9. I was tentative about this issue because I’ve really enjoyed Tyler Kirkham’s pencils so much…but if Aaron Kuder is taking over from Tyler full time, then I’ll still be a happy man.

His work was fantastic, it had that Chris Burnham/Frank Quitely vibe to it and felt very textured and emotive. The splash page with Kyle vs the zombies was off the funking chain! Enjoyed the story, loved the art.

I’m still loving this book, 13 issues after I picked up Issue 1 – it is still exciting and fun.

  10. Kyle has and always will be MY green lantern.
