   Haven’t cared for Tomasi’s run but Guy Gardner has an interesting back story; Vuldarians, Yellow Power Ring, Phantom Zone, etc.

   I have to say that I LOVE the new origin! As someone who really hates football, this is great. Guy was always my least favorite Earth Lantern, don’t get me wrong cause I have always liked him, just not as much as the other three Earth Lanterns. In the New 52, I have to say that Kyle is now my least favorite. Actually, the GL Corps book is one of my top picks each month. I dropped the GL Guardians book some time ago. Anyways, this is one of the best 0 issues to date.

   This would be my POTW. I’ve read 5-6 zero issues do far and this wAs the best one so far. Maybe it’s cause I don’t know much about Guys past before the new 52 but this was great!

   I’m going against the consensus. I’m a big Tomasi proponent, but this was an extremely mediocre comic. The writing was well below his usual level, and the art was inconsistent. Not the worst of the DCU #0’s, but far from the best IMHO. 3/5
