So want GA to be a good book, why not start by putting Aja on interiors?
Aja needs to do interiors again!
I’m curious in a positive way to see what will happen in the next few story arcs now that Green Arrow can finally separate itself from the Rise and Fall/Brightest Day storylines. I really enjoyed issue 11, and I still think we have some unresolved issues with Black Canary to address
@OwlyFan I agree Brightest Day I think prevented us from exploring alot of things. I’m give them one more story arc before I drop this title.
I’m picking this up again solely for the cover. Damn, look at that thing.
Damn, that is a nice cover.
I’m looking forward to the Brightest Day stuff finally being over.
Cover’s ok, miss the James Jean ones tho. Krul takes a lot of flak, just make GA a badass again will ya?
Brightest day was a good storyline (not great, but good) but I agree with a lot of the previous posters. It will be nice to see a storyline in GA not connected at the hip to everything else in the DC universe.
J.T. Krul, I have given you 12 issues leeway now. Please make this book good. I want it to be good, as I rather like Green Arrow as a character, but man, has this been a bore.
@GiantRaven, I am waiting too. I do not like this issue’s cover. The others are awesome art
Yeah, GA as a book is a tragedy. Kevin Smith was no genius, but since his run (and maybe Meltzer’s) it was diappointment after disappointment. I want Diggle on the book.
I don’t know if this book is getting canceled along with Flash and a bunch of the others, or if everything is going to get canceled and renumbered post-Flashpoint…but I’m sad to say I’m finished once again with collecting GA. I was hoping a year’s worth of treading water under a Brightest Day tie-in banner would pay off, but this issue just echoed the events of BD #24 in a way I thought was completely redundant. I’ve loved the art on this series, but the storyline has been a big disappointment.
Was this the last issue? As in, was it cancelled? If not, I’m really on the fence about dropping this book. On the one hand, Brightest Day is over, as others have noted, and now we get some other stories. At the same time, this is not a book I look forward to – it’s one of those “bought out of preceived obligation” books.
