  1. If there really is a God, he should take hand and make this book sell 10 times what it does.

  2. There isn’t a god.

  3. I was wavering with this book leading up to and during the layoff but between Chinatown and the last few issues, Powell seems to really have a renewed focus and it’s been great seeing the overall story really start to progress.

  4. yeah, I was unhappy with all the Goon Nior stuff and I didn’t really care for The sodmy baby one shot. But I was too big a fanboy to drop this book, and I think I’ll be happy I didn’t.  I think it was really that I was missing Powell.  He’s back now though and the Goon’s back up to my second favorite ongoing book.

I gotta say I love Dave Stewart on the last few issue

  5. I don’t understand why this doesn’t have more pulls. Maybe alot of Trade-readers?

  6. There is a lot of crazyness a foot in this book, I have no idea whats all happening, but not in a bad way.  It looks like this is going to be a little bit of a mystery and the buzzard is our sam spade.

  7. It sounds like most people are having the same feeling that I am about the Goon at the moment.  I just haven’t been excited about this book in a good long while, but the last two issues have both been steller, and I’m back on board.  Good stuff.
