    I rarely give two flying figs about lisenced movie tie-ins, but good grief, the art for this is stellar. I’m jumping in.

    not a movie tie-in at all. G.I. Joe cobra is a companion mini-series to IDW’s GI Joe book, and GI Joe Origins. No movie, just pure good comic

    i loved last issue, but times are tough. This one might be getting chopped this week. I’m gonnga give ish 1 another re-read and figure it out.

    I think Chuckles is awesome I used to have a G.I.Joe Chuckles action figure way back during the 1980’s and I was surprised to know that Kimi Arashikage also known as Jinx was his love interest due that according to the good old 1987 G.I.Joe: The Movie Jinx is Lt. Falcon’s love interest so I think I’m God Damned confuse.

    Once again, a book I never would have glanced at if #1 hadn’t been praised on the podcast turns out to be perhaps the best thing of the week.

    This book was just as spectacular as the first issue. I haven’t read everything yet, so I hesitate to make a POTW, but this, surprisingly, might be it.

    Why can’t the main series be this good?

    @Dez: You’re not missing anything spectacular with the main book – although G.I. JOE: ORIGINS is almost as good as this one.

    Just a little random insight for no particular reason. I think I don’t get into the GI Joe books cause I didn’t read the old series when I was little, so there is no comparison  for me in the new tile.

    this book is getting really interesting.  really clever on the skull implant.  Though I am wondering how far he is willing to go to fulfill the mission.  I really hope he doesnt have to kill Jinx or anything like that.
