I think I am just as surprised as everyone else who has read this book at how good it is.  In concept, this story can’t work because of who people remember Chuckles from Marvel’s series.  This isn’t that Chuckles and you know that within the first page.  After reading this issue, Chuckles has become my favorite G.I. Joe character.  He is committed to doing the mission despite the choices he has to make and it makes for a great character piece. 

The writing is great.  The art is amazing.  G.I. Joe Cobra is a must read!
