  1. FINALLY!

  2. Tell me about it

  3. I know! I was just thinking the other day that I must’ve missed the second issue. This is going to struggle..

  4. So excited for this

  5. If the first issue is any indication, this book is gonna be POTW material every time it drops.  Hopefully, it starts coming out a little more regularly.

  6. I remember wanting to get the first issue but my LCS didn’t get it in. What’s the probability they’ll get this one?

  7. I just dropped Green Lantern.. this should make for a fine replacement. And the  some. Bring on  the dragons!

  8. Woo. Hoo.

  9. Spoiler? This dragon fight is going to be rad.  I have my money on the gnarly one (on the left on the last page) breathing fire with the massive wings.  The other scrawny, snake lookin’ one (on the right) is purple… and stands no chance, silly dragon.

  10. I think I trade wait. Yeah.

  11. The first issue came out sooooo long ago, but I still remember the story.  The book was that good.  Can’t wait for this one.

  12. I had lost hope of every seeing this again. So excited!

  13. @OddsBodkins. I love that avatar man

  14. @ Jake- You dropped GL!? How could you?

If this issue is half the quality of the first issue, then it will most definitely still be my potw.

  15. Not as good as the first but still pretty good. The art is spectacular.

  16. My local shop isn’t carrying this so I can’t read it yet. I figure it would be a good investment to get in trade.

  17. FINALLY!! Good lord I can’t wait for this any longer!!

  18. I spoke with Joe Kelly @ the NYCC about Four Eyes.  He told me that the art is taking longer than he hoped (but wasn’t bashing the artist in any way).  The amount of detail Max Fiumara puts into each panel is worth the wait.  The have now made it so Four Eyes is scheduled to come out every two months.  The story is a finite one that will end with issue 20.  This book has the makings of a classic work of sequential storytelling.  ðŸ™‚

  19. After this issue Joe Kelly is becoming one of my favorite writers.  I Kill Giants was amazing and as long as this comes out at regular pace I will be picking it up every time.

  20. I am so sad, I have to wait another week to get this!

  21. I got the first Issue as a gift. A freind new I liked comics went in and randomly selected some things. The rest of the pile was tripe on ice. But this is awesome cant wait till next issue and I’m glad it’s getting a good run with 20 issues.

  22. this book is the new "the sword" for image for me!

  23. Picked up both issues Thursday and loved them.  Great read.  Don’t really mind if it comes out bi-monthly, worth the wait I think.

  24. That makes me sad to hear that there will only be 20 issues.

  25. I flipped through it in the store and decided it just wasn’t for me. I know it’s fantasy and dragons aren’t real, but I have a visceral aversion to any kind of story that involves cruelty to animals, including forcing them to brutally fight to the death. Yeah I know it’s "just" a comic book and they’re "just" dragons (although feeding a bunch of whining dogs to one of them rubbed me the wrong way, as well), but I still get freaked out by it (I also cry every damn time I watch King Kong…). But…I’m glad everyone is getting so much enjoyment out of it.
