  1. Is this going to be like Top Gun?

  2. Seems like this might be boring…

  3. Is it me or do the clouds look like wings? Is Hal Jordan dead in the world of flashpoint?

  4. @ato220  And without a halo! lol

  5. yeeaaahhh…i may wait and see what people say about this, I have a feeling this is going to be the same story i’ve read a billion times at this point. I can see myself reading #2 just to skip the setup (assuming it’s nothing new).

  6. I’m going to sit this one out. there are to many other great and interesting Flashpoint mini’s out there.

  7. I might drop this to save money for september. Depends on what I feel like in the store.

  8. I was dreading this.  I wanted to try all the first issues, but I just had no expectations for this at all.  Which is why I’m a bit conflicted as I sit here, having enjoyed this more than pretty much anything else I’ve read this week without really being able to tell you why.  But that art sure didn’t hurt.

  9. This was one of the better issues, and the art was AWESOME.

  10. @CrimsonBlur  i agree the art was spectacular

  11. Lame story…everyone knows whats going to happen in #2

    #2 should have been #1

  12. bmsovick: Considering Abin Sur isnt going to die… we dont really know jack.. and Hal isnt going to get a GL ring. Hes going to be dropping the “Green Arrow Bomb” atleast hes supposed to.

  13. This was alright. I agree that the art is better than most of the Flashpoint tie ins but the story was very much a rehash of the origin.

  14. Another secret origin book lol

  15. I’m curious enough to read the next one.

  16. This was nothing I haven’t read before, with minor variations. The art was very good, but the story was nothing new for the most part.
