Even though it has the words Final Crisis in it, I really enjoyed the first part of this. Going to keep going with this one.
The first issue was great. The human flame isn’t a super-villain, he’s just an asshole. An asshole who likes explosions.

Very, very solid. I like the team of freaks with the seemingly competent leader.
This is so much ridiculous fun. I was wondering how much more punishment this old fat dude could seriously take, very interesting to see him get an overhaul. I was laughing out loud at this book.

was i the only one excited to see the condiment king? i just remember him from an episode of batman was that his only appearance or was he in comics before? good issue but that whole thing of him becoming all metalloed out makes me not interested to see the rest of the story because they have taken away a bit of what made him a unique and funny character
This issue was even better than the first. Honestly, if Batman and Robin hadn’t come out this week, this would have been my pick of the week. I laughed out loud through most of this book. I seriously hope they keep this version of the Human Flame around.
@peterporker – I liked the Condiment King, but don’t recall ever having seen him before. I think the "improvements" that the human flame received will prove to be more of a detriment. I certainly don’t think he will suddenly be capable of standing toe-to-toe with Superman.
